Twas Brillig

If the last thing I see today is not a fresh green apple, my left hand might detest the apparent delicacy of the fruit of the baren mountain. That is to say, words can come out however they want to and never intend to mean anything. Yet some could unerringly extrapolate a powerful analogy that could alter the course of their life. Just yesterday a patient told me that she read a book that had a woman writing letters to god and his replys. She asked why wickedness was allowed to persist and god told her he tried to send good people to change the wicked before it was too late and they didn't listen to him. Because she read this in a book she has come to believe it whole-heartedly. So to people like that I will say only this: the last time that you ever hear the wind blow comes as a taste of that pure water poured from the vessel of the undying confusion that emigrated from the stars ere they were born, and still they reek of the pungency of licorice.
